Our Story

Ah, the modern love story—boy meets girl, boy slides into DMs with the smoothest pickup line of all time: "Hey babe, I'm going to the store real quick, do you want anything?" Naturally, I (Kristina) did what any rational person would do—I ignored him. But persistence (and a good sense of humor) pays off, and eventually, I responded. One conversation led to another, and before we knew it, that single DM turned into a lifelong grocery run… I guess you could say I said yes to the shopping list and the guy.

Bogdan knew he had to go big—so he took me to Mallorca, Spain, rounded up my family from Germany, and set the stage for the most unforgettable moment of our lives. Picture this: a breathtaking cliffside overlooking the sea at sunset, the sky painted in shades of pink and gold, and a dreamy setup with a beach and seashell theme (because, of course, he knows I’m obsessed). Just as I was soaking it all in, he got down on one knee and popped the question. Of course I said yes!!! (he had my passport so I did not have much of a choice).

Hands down—Greece! What started as a spontaneous adventure turned into the most unforgettable trip of our lives. We explored Santorini and Mykonos like true daredevils, zooming around on ATVs, almost flying off cliffs, and questioning if we’d actually make it back to our villa in one piece. The sunsets were magical, the beach club parties were wild, and the food? Chef’s kiss. But the real plot twist? Getting our gas stolen and ending up stranded in Mykonos—because apparently, island life comes with surprises. Despite (or maybe because of) all the chaos, we fell in love with Greece and can’t wait to go back for round two!

We’re on a mission to visit all seven continents! So far, we’ve been living our best European summer lives, hitting six countries over four summers (because why stop at one when you can country-hop?). We’ve also soaked up the sun in the Caribbean and are gearing up for our honeymoon in Dubai and the Maldives—because nothing says newlywed goals like desert adventures and overwater bungalows. But we’re just getting started! From trekking through South America to spotting penguins in Antarctica, we can’t wait to see the world together—one stamp in our passports at a time.
